Day 15

Evidently the street I live on, 172nd Street, used to be known as Fox Drive... huh. Who knew? For as long as we've lived there, it's been 172nd Street. I do remember hearing something once about Chippewa having changed from using words in their street names outside of city limits to all street names being preceeded by numbers. Now everything outside of town is "161st Avenue" or "143rd Street." I might have noticed once that the sign on our street said "Fox Drive" on it, but it wasn't something that stayed in my memory bank. Now, today, I'm noticing so many of the words around me (thanks to Project 365!) and I noticed the "Fox Drive" on our street sign for what feels like the first time.
