I guess I should just be relieved I made it through the entire semester without being sick on a day I needed to teach or get a lot of work done...

This Christmas book was a gift from Andy's mom after our wedding... it's a place to record highlights of the Christmas season, as well as memories from the past year. It is one of my favorite gifts ever! I am excited there will soon be 4 entries, and I look forward to filling it in more and more every year.

Today (12/15/09) is my last day of the first semester of my teaching career. Hoping for many, many more! Thanks NTC!

Thankful for... a lovely Christmas tree, a last day of getting ready for classes this semester, a light at the end of the busy tunnel that's been my life for the past 4 months, and for just about everything else.

At a complete loss for words tonight, and thinking (through tears) the most positive thoughts I can for my friend Tyan and her new little guy, Brody.

Thank goodness for Betty Crocker-- I certainly wouldn't win any awards for my efforts in a kitchen! Now 'drive thru,' on the other hand, I'm darn good at!!!

Day 325
Decorated the tree today. I love ornaments (especially ones that mean something) more and more every year.
Day 324
Today = got our Christmas tree (but didn't decorate it) and we went to Jeremy and Kariann's wedding... A good day!

Time to get out the Christmas books! (And I'll be honest, I didn't take this on Day 323-- I took it on Day 324, but I forgot on Day 323... oh well!)

I've had these drinks in my fridge for a very long time... I really like them, but if you know me well you know I can't drink alcohol, so they've just been hanging out in my fridge. Then last week, I had ice cream and a light bulb experience involving the chocolatey drinks... it was lovely :)

I teach a Developmental Psychology class this semester. This is a joke one of my students shared with me.

Just about every Monday night, this is what I go to bed to... a sleeping hubby, a sweet puppy, and a textbook that I need to read more of. Normally we don't have a purple/white comforter, but that's another story :)
