Day 138

Okay, this is a terrible photo... It was late... REALLY late. I knew I wanted to go to bed but I still needed to take my 365 photo.

I looked in my room... what can I take a picture of that has a word in it? Doesn't even matter if it's total garbage... I just need ONE PHOTO!

I found this deck of cards that I bought when I was visiting my sister in Hawaii. It is a deck with photos of National Parks on them. I thought, Perfect! Words! I grabbed the deck, quickly leafed through and pulled out all the photos of parks that I've been to (an unfortunately small number but I hope to visit most~ if not all~ of them eventually!).

I set up the camera... I started the timer... I held the cards.

And one after another... totally blurry photos.

So, what's a photographer to do? I grabbed my husband, who helped me hold the cards, get them in focus, and then the idea was that when the timer started I would sneak in and hold the cards myself, then he would move out of the photo, but that didn't happen on this one.

It happened to be the only IN focus photo of the bunch. And I love it, because you can totally see his fingers.

It was quite an undertaking!! And it was very funny. Love it.

{And seriously, all that effort for a crappy photo?!?!}
